Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 12 ounces high-quality dark chocolate chips
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cheesecake Layer

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional) for extra richness

Caramel Topping

  • caramel sauce store-bought or homemade

Red Velvet Variation (Optional)

  • cocoa powder for a red velvet twist

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven and grease a springform pan.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Brownie Base – Melt 12 ounces of dark chocolate chips with 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter using a microwave or double boiler until smooth. Stir in 3/4 cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well until evenly combined.
  • Step 3: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remove from the oven and allow the base to cool completely.
  • Step 4: Assemble the Cheesecake Layer – Once the brownie base is cool, evenly spread the cream cheese over the top. If desired, sprinkle in additional semi-sweet chocolate chips for extra richness.
  • Step 5: Drizzle or spread caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer to achieve a signature sweet, sticky finish.
  • Step 6: Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set.
  • Step 7: Slice into portions and serve your decadent Caramel Brownie Cheesecake.

Notes

For best results, refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
